Today we measured 6 chilled water coils for replacement at one of the many local hospitals in our area. Selecting the correct coil company provides you the ability to focus on the installation while we make sure your coil is a direct replacement, allowing for the best possible results. Upon reviewing the coils I found the the original installer had purchased and installed six of the same left hand coil configurations when three of the coils should have been right hand. Having incorrect counter and air flow allows for a 2-3% loss in efficiency for every row of your chilled water coil, accounting for a possible efficiency loss of 15% for a 6 row coil.
