Chilled water coils are tube-and-fin heat exchangers usually consisting of 4–12 rows of tubes…
Split-fit coils are modular HVAC coils designed in multiple sections so they can be installed in applications where a single, full-size coil cannot fit through an existing opening. In a Split-fit design, individual coil sections are manufactured separately and then easily staged and assembled in the field to create the required overall coil face area and capacity.

Split-fit Coils
Split-fit coils are often built for replacement and retrofit applications where access is limited.
The key benefit of a Split-fit design is that it saves time and money by allowing contractors to replace or upgrade a large coil without removing walls, dismantling equipment or making major modifications to the unit.
Most commercial HVAC coils can be constructed in Split-fit coil sections, including water coils, steam coils, DX coils and condenser coils. However, not every coil or application is suitable for it. Our team can guide you on if Split-fit is right for your specific needs.
