Steam Distribution Coils - Pitched in Casing
It is hit or miss in the field whether or not the steam distribution coil will be pitched within the casing but there are two distinct advantages to a steam coil manufactured with this design. The first being that the coil is built with 3/8" of slope toward the the return header allowing all tubes to have proper removal of condensate. The second is that you can install the steam distribution coil level and at the same time condensate will exit the return efficiently. This process is offered by Nationwide Coils and when utilized it allows for a professional efficient installation of your steam distribution coil.
